Cat in a Hat fundraising group joins the Brain Tumour Research umbrella

Cat in a Hat skydiveCatherine Anderson was diagnosed with a grade 2 brain tumour in August 2014, which quickly progressed to being grade 4 by the end of the year.

Her bravery and enduring bubbly nature whilst undergoing gruelling treatment has inspired her family to set up Cat in a Hat, a fundraising group for Brain Tumour Research, named after all the hats that Cat has been given by her friends and family and that she wears to cover the hair loss caused by her treatment.

Having raised more than £10,000 in just a few short months, Cat’s dad Rab decided to take on his greatest fear — heights.

“My skydive was nothing compared to what Cat faces every day.”
